The Brassie is a very popular attractor that is affective when you need to get a small nymph down quickly. The Brassie is slender and heavy for its size and sinks well to get down to hungry fish. I don’t leave home without a few Brassie’s in the fly box. When large fish are sipping up very small midges or nymphs, the Brassie is a great fly to try.
